profile - MORI Saeko A seasoned obi (kimono sash) weaver from a textile manufacturer specializingin Nishijin "Tsumegaki Hon Tsudureori”. I am now working as an independent artist in retail business producing original and custom designed accessories. The use of finer than standard threads allows me to weave more detailed patterns, and the crispness of these fabrics allows me to give form to my accessories. I am turning my traditional weaving work into 3D art. |
